I watch so many of these things that its just a blur. This blog is to help me keep track.
There were no reviews published in 2019 and only two in 2020. My dump activity ebbed over the last while for a couple of reasons.
My own filmmaking activity shrank, eventually taking a back seat to other things, at least for the time being. Also cinema has gone through a kind of death as high quality home-viewing and streaming became a solid alternative to the traditional theatre-going experience and opened the door to long-long-form linear drama series.
Aggregate result: I watched less movies for a while, or less movies worth watching, or worth thinking about, as the avalanches of hurried half-baked Netflix content drowned the world. Streaming content has improved somewhat lately, it should be said.
